About me

I was born and raised in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I acquired an interest in the creative aspects of life from an early age. In high school, I took whatever art classes I could, whether they be painting, sculpting, photography, or drawing. I was accepted into the Studio Art program at Appalachian State University, but I soon realized I wanted something more. I then discovered Industrial Design and knew that this was for me. The wide breadth of subjects covered, the way problems are approached and solved, the creativity balanced with practicality, these were all aspects that drew me to Industrial Design.

After completing my BS of Industrial Design in 2010, I worked my way from intern, to design consultant, to full-time employee at an architectural and interior design firm here in Atlanta. I was then given the opportunity to work at a start-up product development firm where I designed the operations protocol, took ideas from sketch to animated 3D models, and became head of logo design for the entire company.

Despite having a good job in my field, I decided I wanted to dive deeper into design and decided to pursue a masters degree in industrial design. I was accepted into Georgia Institute of Technology's Masters of Industrial Design program in the Fall of 2013 and completed my studies in August of 2015. Post graduation, I began working as a Concept Designer for Mölnlycke Health Care in Norcross, Georgia developing new and innovative solutions for an ever-changing health care environment. In 2023, I began working for Battelle in their Medical Device Solutions division as a Human Factors Engineer and Industrial Designer.
