These are work samples from my time as a design consultant at Norris Design Studio in Atlanta, Georgia. They include a menu design and wall divide feature for Al Forno Pizzeria in Washington D.C. and graphics created for use in a Fresh Gourmet currently in George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas.
Stroll is an integrative design solution for the healthcare environment. It provides a platform which connects patients and caregivers in a intuitive and efficient way. It includes a wearable device which can track patients' vitals and display simple information about recovery process, and a system that better store, analyze and convey the data related to the patients.
The prompt for this project was to create any kind of light emitting object, but you must create two versions of the same design. The purpose of having two versions of the same design was that one must be higher-end than the other. This was done in order to see how manufacturing and number of products produced can effect the overall design.
Students were prompted to design a piece of furniture for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair based around the concept of city infrastructure.
For this project, students worked directly with industrial designers at Irwin Industrial Tools to create various products that adhered to their design language. Each student was assigned a product area to focus on and instructed to interview end-users, conduct current market research, and iterate on their designs.
